देवों के देव...महादेव

Hanuman advises the Vanaras about their way of living. He prays to Mahadev to help him find answers to his questions. He then seeks Anjani's blessing and leaves towards the sun. Why does Indradev get worried seeing this?

Suryadev worries on seeing Hanuman approach him. Hanuman wants to become his disciple and seek knowledge from him. At first, Suryadev refuses, but later gives him a task to perform. He agrees to become his guru if he succeeds in the task.

Suryadev imparts knowledge to Hanuman, who expresses his gratitude to his guru. In Ayodhaya, Dasharatha and Sunayna welcome Lord Rama and Sita and bless them. Meanwhile, a child is born when Parvati covers Mahadev's eyes. This worries Lord Brahma and all the gods.

Mahadev tells Parvati that since she did not heed his advice, their powers have created a blind child, Andhaka. He worries about his existence. Hiranyaksha adopts the child, not knowing that Andhaka will be responsible for the death of one of his sons.

Parvati tries to please Mahadev and asks Lord Brahma for help. Brihaspati tries to persuade Mahadev to reconcile with Parvati, but he is lost in his worries about Andhaka. The gods pray to Parvati to help Mahadev.

Parvati urges Mahadev to give up his silence for the welfare of the universe. Mahadev agrees to emerge from that state. The gods are informed that the future will have both light and darkness, and that everybody has to learn how to balance both.

Aware of the destruction that will be caused by Andhaka, Narad also wants him dead. Mahadev tells him why that cannot be done. Narad educates Andhaka about Mahadev. Andhaka refuses to accept Mahadev and intends to rule the world with his power.

Hanuman gets restless as he wants to know his purpose in life. Mahadev blesses him and asks him to be patient. Dasharatha decides to make Lord Rama the king of Ayodhaya. But this worries Mahadev and the gods as it would defeat Lord Rama's purpose on earth.
